Living Area: Spacious open-plan living/dining room with comfortable leather sofas, colour LCD TV, DVD and radio/CD player. French windows open out to the private, landscaped garden giving superb views of the rolling hills towards the sea. There is a gas coal-effect fire in the living area and the cottage is centrally heated throughout. There is a small library of DVD films and a good selection of books, magazines and games. Recycling facilities are available and free Wi-Fi internet access. Please ask for details.
Kitchen: Country kitchen with gas-fired Aga. Great for cooking and keeps the cottage lovely and cosy in the Winter months. Alternative cooking applicances available including combi microwave oven with grill and portable hot plates. The cottage has a washing machine, fridge/freezer and ironing facilities.
Main Bedroom: Upstairs, large south-facing room with a comfortable double bed, fitted pine wardrobe, colour TV and spectacular views.
Bedroom 2: Also upstairs, the second bedroom has a single bed, with an optional pullout full-sized single bed, and a fitted pine wardrobe.
Bathroom: The upstairs bathroom is modern with bath, power shower, heated towel rail, washbasin and WC.
Garden: The garden is private and has stunning views to the south overlooking the National Trust Golden Cap Estate and the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. There is a large patio area with BBQ, garden furniture, lighting and a large swinging chair.
Parking: Parking for one car is available at the nearby George Inn (opposite). 10% discount on food at the George is also given to Chideock Cottage guests.
Bedlinen and towels are included. Stairgate and high chair available. Welcome tray on arrival.
