Throughout the Year - Saturday Nights at River Cottage

A popular weekly event at nearby River Cottage. The evening starts at 7.30pm with a warm welcome and canapes. The River Cottage team will explain their philosophy, the provenance of the menu and how your food has been cooked. Members of the team will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have about what they do at River Cottage HQ. Following this, a four course set menu is served, featuring produce from the River Cottage kitchen garden, and a host of local organic growers.The evening also includes entertainment from local, talented entertainers. Christmas 2012 at Chideock Cottage

A tastefully decorated tree and a hamper of quality local produce awaits you on arrival. Enjoy cooking your Christmas dinner on the aga followed by a late afternoon stroll down to Seatown beach. Alternatively, if you are looking to escape Christmas and prefer not to have any decorations then we are happy to accommodate this.

New Year 2013 at Chideock Cottage

As well as retaining the Christmas tree, there will also be a chilled bottle of champagne with our compliments to see in the New Year. The George Inn, just over the road, always offers fantastic food and entertainment so why not include this in your New Year's Eve plans? No transport required as it is all on your doorstep! Then there is the Lyme Lunge on New Year's Day to blow away those cobwebs!
